Mild redness and sensitivity are common for a few hours after waxing. We apply soothing gels and recommend cool compresses and fragrance-free moisturizers. If redness, swelling or prolonged irritation persists beyond 24–48 hours, contact us or your healthcare provider for assessment.

Exfoliate gently 48–72 hours before and arrive with hair about 1/4 inch long for best results. Avoid sunburn, self-tanners, retinoids or chemical peels for several days prior. Skip heavy lotions on the day of your appointment.

Most clients enjoy 3–6 weeks of smoothness depending on individual hair growth, hormonal factors, and maintenance routines. Regular waxing can reduce regrowth over time. We recommend returning every 4–6 weeks to maintain a tidy swimsuit line.

You may feel brief stinging as hair is removed, but discomfort is typically short-lived. Our technicians use efficient techniques, warm wax and calming pre/post care to minimize pain. Take ibuprofen beforehand if needed and avoid caffeine right before your appointment.

Yes — many clients are waxed during their period. You may be slightly more sensitive, so bring a tampon or liner for hygiene and comfort. We follow strict sanitary protocols; if you’re experiencing heavy bleeding or discomfort, we can reschedule to a more comfortable time.
